Delayed Futures

Angelic Knight Press‘ upcoming ‘No Place Like Home‘ anthology, which was originally slated for a January release, has now been pushed back a few months.

The book will be released in June, just before the World Horror Convention in New Orleans, so for now it seems that the near future will just have to remain that little bit further away.

A Home for Horror

The previously mentioned upcoming anthology from The Horror Zine now has a publisher and a name.

Imajin Books were the publisher for The Horror Zine‘s previous anthology ‘What Fears Become’ so it seems fitting that they will now follow it up with this new collection, entitled ‘Shadow Masters’.

Jeani Rector has assembled another impressive cast of contributors for this latest anthology and I’m extremely excited to be a part of it.

More information and publication dates to follow once I know.

Bug’s Life

The second of this month’s new stories, ‘To Kafka, With Love‘, is now available over at The WiFiles.

The story is free to read online and you can check it out here.WiFiles Small

The ezine is a new offshoot from Crimson Melodies Press and features serial, flash and short fiction in the fields of dark fantasy and horror.

You can download Issue #1 here, with the option of making a small donation to support the zine.

Alternatively, you can download from Amazon, Barnes&Noble or iTunes.

Revised nastiness

The first volumes of Pendragon Press‘ planned ‘Nasty Snips Project‘ have been delayed and are now scheduled to release in February next year.

Publication delay

The release of Angelic Knight Press‘  ‘No Place Like Home‘ anthology has now been pushed back till January. This is to allow more time to get the edits finished ahead of publication. Will update more once an exact release date gets sorted.

Toto gets an upgrade

Those nice folks over at Angelic Knight have just released the cover art and list of contributors for their upcoming near future themed anthology ‘No Place Like Home‘, due out shortly after the US elections take place in mid-November.

My story ‘Lemming Revolution‘ is included, along with tales from twenty-one other authors.

The artwork is a suitably creepy looking amalgam of sci-fi and horror, and gives you a fair idea of the kinds of stories to feature within. More details to follow nearer the release date.

Spanner in the works

Angelic Knight Press have today announced that there’s been a manufacturing mistake by CreateSpace with the first print run of the ‘Fading Light’ anthology, and being the awesome small press that they are, they’ve already taken steps to sort it all out for anyone who’s ordered or recieved a defective copy from Amazon.

For the full story and how to go about getting a replacement, check out the latest post over at Angelic Knight here.

UPDATE: This issue has now been fixed and the print edition is once again available to purchase from Amazon.

Light’s Out

Out today is Tim Marquitz‘ monstrous anthology ‘Fading Light‘, released by Angelic Knight Press and featuring my contribution: ‘The Beastly Ninth‘.

The anthology is available in paperback from Amazon.co.uk, and in electronic form from both Amazon.co.uk and Smashwords.

In addition, there is a ‘Companion’ electronic edition, containing five further stories which couldn’t be included in the main book for space reasons. It’s available for a fraction of the price, from both Amazon.co.uk and Smashwords, and serves as a great teaser purchase for those unsure about buying the full anthology.

For full details of prices and where to buy, check out the updated Publications page…

Title Track

The new print issue of Title Goes Here: is out now and features my story ‘Old Loves Die Hard‘.

You can get hold of it in either hardcopy or ebook form. More details are available on the publications page.

Update: The issue is also available to buy in hardcopy from Amazon.co.uk.
